For Xmas, we'll be closed for the 24th and 25th opening for the evening on the 26th. Drop us a line to let us know if be around for the week between Xmas and New Years.
We're very pleased to announce that Ndiya will be teaching Yoga classes at Primal. Ndiya has been doing yoga for 10 years and is Primally fit, so it was a great pleasure to hear that she would take a shot at teaching our yoga classes. We took a sample class last week, and Ndiya is an awesome teacher as well as an amazing athlete and yogi. Come by tonight at 7 (Upstairs) for a class. $14 for flexibility and relaxation with a bit of a challenge if you're so inclined. Being a Primal yoga class, you can take the relaxation path, or the path that leaves you sweating but with an inner calm. Right now we're on a pilot basis, with just one class a week. Primal Fitness - CrossFit, Judo, Tang Su Do and now Yoga in Washington DC.
Spider Chick that is ... we're looking forward to Major Karen Douglas joining us when she relocates to Washington DC. She recently mentioned us in her interview on CrossFit. She's a great example that dedication, hard work, and great programming add up to a succesful fitness progam and we can't wait to carry that on with her!
This past weekend's Olympic Weightlifting Seminar was a blast! A huge thanks goes out to Greg Everett of Catalyst Athletics and the Performance Menu for the awesome training. We'd also like to thank Jerry Hill of Crossfit Challenge in Old Towne Alexandria as well as Tom Brose of Crossfit DC for bringing their crews and some much-needed smaller bumpers and bars! Lastly, it was great to see so many people coming together to help out Allen and his family while getting in some amazing O-lift work in the proccess. Thanks for coming out and hopefully we'll see you all again soon!

...and by moved we mean extremely grateful for all the help we got today. So many people come out in force to help, and some stayed as long as 12 or 13 hours! Special thanks to Frosti who came from Chicago and was a trooper. Today's workout was "Move a gym for time" ... we didn't do bad, at 15 hours, 38 minutes and 58 seconds. Pictures tomorrow. We're now offering two free workout sessions each week, the first is our free Friday evening workouts for everybody in the neighborhood running from 4:00-4:45PM, and the second is our bring a friend free Saturday workouts during the 10am Parkour and the 2PM Crossfit classes.
