This past week, our good friend and winter-season client Josh Raeben stopped in while in town for a firefighter's convention. Since he usually posts some of the faster times on the WOD, we decided to even things up a bit and have him do a workout in his full kit. Check out the awesome pics!
Primal Fitness will once again be in the evening news spotlight! This time it will be the same piece on two different stations. The piece is scheduled to run on Friday, July 25th during ABC7's 5pm news (probably about 5:45, but that can change) and should run in the 6pm hour on NewsChannel8 as well. Our ever-popular Primal Fitness boot-camp istarts this evening at 6pm, and we only have 3 spots left! The boot camp is a great way to learn the foundation of Crossfit and the Primal Fitness methodology , and we recommend it for all of our potential clients. This past Saturday we ran a great fitness seminar for the Black Devils, a group comprised of women from all over the globe who are into improving their health and fitness so they can live the best life possible. With 8 women in attendance with a whole host of different fitness levels it was a great opportunity to showcase the variable and scaleable nature of Primal. The ladies did great and we're super-psyched to have been the first exposure to Crossfit for many of them. Great job and you're all welcome back any time!
We'd like to give a big Primal welcome to our newest client, Mark Baker, who's coming in after some months away from Crossfit. Referred by Andy Loftus, Mark also adds to our growing list of special law enforcement officers, so we got him to quickly sign our "Thin Blue Line" area of the wall before throwing him into some Tabata squats! Great to have you here Mark, and we're proud to have the opportunity to serve the growing Primal LEO/MIL community!
Todd is our intern at Primal. He's an exercise science student at George Mason University and hopes to become a permant fixture at Primal once he's done there. He's certainly well on his way- since he has started in July last year, he's helped many of our clients reach their goals and even led his own boot camp. Todd Specializes in powerlifting and Olympic Lifting and is currently coahing one of our clients on his way to his first O-lift competition. Be sure to slap him on the ass today - he likes that. We're now offering two free workout sessions each week, the first is our free Friday evening workouts for everybody in the neighborhood running from 4:00-4:45PM, and the second is our bring a friend free Saturday workouts during the 10am Parkour and the 2PM Crossfit classes.
