Congrats to Quint Fischer who recently received his Level 1 CrossFit certification! Quint can be seen most evenings running the CrossFit workouts alongside Jesse. Here Quint is pictured hoisting our 75 pound keg "Bridgette" named after former Bond Girl Bridgette Bardot. The real challenge is that the 2/3 full keg leaves plenty of room to slosh, so when you clean it it tries to knock your teeth in. No match for Quint, must be all that Primal training. I just wanted to make a quick post to say a huge thanks to all of the participants in this weekend's Fight Gone Bad III fundraiser. With 24 people hitting up the workout, and $7,360 raised towards prostate cancer and the wounded warrior project, it was a huge success! Thanks a ton to everybody who helped out to make it happen throughout the day. Video coming soon!
So, this Saturday, 9-27 will be our Fight Gone Bad fundraiser day, this means that we will not be having any other regularly scheduled classes during the day. The event will run as follows:
10:30AM-Set-up and splitting into heats
11:00AM-Group 1
11:30AM- Group 2
12:00PM-Group 3
12:30-12:45- tallying scores, prizes for money raised, high scores, best effort
1:00 PM: Food on the grill
1:30-4:00PM: Barbecue, covered dish, etc. PARTY TIME!
Everybody is encouraged to bring a covered dish or some sides/drinks etc. We'll be providing some meat and veggies on the grill. Non-participants are welcome to join us for a $10 donation to the Athletes for a Cure/Wounded Warrior Project . See you all there!

We're now offering two free workout sessions each week, the first is our free Friday evening workouts for everybody in the neighborhood running from 4:00-4:45PM, and the second is our bring a friend free Saturday workouts during the 10am Parkour and the 2PM Crossfit classes.
