The Miami Herald wrote up an article on parkour,
featuring Primal Fitness Miami. A very positive article, they interview
Adrian and he introduces parkour and discusses the focus on safety and
progression in teaching it.

UPDATE: Christy Phillips, Primal’s sweetheart, competed in the 2009 CrossFit Games last weekend. Christy endured eight utterly grueling events and finished in 6th place overall! Here is a brief recap of the weekend from Team Christy…
Primal's own Christy Phillips heads to California this weekend to compete in the 2009 CrossFit Games!
For those who don't remember, Christy finished in first place at the
Mid-Atlantic Qualifiers down in Virginia Beach. She has been training
hard in preparation for the Games. To see videos of her training as
well as other various videos of Primal workouts, check out our youtube
page .
The Games are sure to be grueling test, as the first day consists of five events alone. Several dedicated Primates will be traveling to California to cheer on Christy through the weekend. Team Christy plans on getting a lot of photos and video of the entire ordeal. The Games will also be covered extensively on the CrossFit Games site (linked above). Even so, despite Q's unending hatred for such things, we have created a Twitter account to keep everyone updated on Christy's progress. You can track Christy at the Games here.
So when you hit a Primal WOD in the next few days, be sure to think of how hard Christy is working under the blazing California sun, and then push yourself harder.

Primal Fitness was recently honored with a flag that was flown over the Multi-National Headquarters in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. We were given the flag for our dedication to the servicemen and women we have trained from around the country. A huge thanks to all of our troops, and especially Bob Moariarty for bestowing this great honor upon us . We hope you all have a safe and happy 4th.
Primal Fitness has been quietly running Freerunning classes on Friday nights. Freerunning is a derivative of Parkour that incorporates acrobatic and creative movement into the obstacle-interaction of Parkour.
We're now offering two free workout sessions each week, the first is our free Friday evening workouts for everybody in the neighborhood running from 4:00-4:45PM, and the second is our bring a friend free Saturday workouts during the 10am Parkour and the 2PM Crossfit classes.
