...and by moved we mean extremely grateful for all the help we got today. So many people come out in force to help, and some stayed as long as 12 or 13 hours! Special thanks to Frosti who came from Chicago and was a trooper. Today's workout was "Move a gym for time" ... we didn't do bad, at 15 hours, 38 minutes and 58 seconds. Pictures tomorrow. Remember, all classes now held at 219 M street.

Primal Fitness is Moving!

DC is getting real about Fitness! Since we opened our doors in January we've been growing steadily thanks mainly to the best compliment we could get - client referrals. The building that we originally wanted has become available at a time when our lease is just about up, so we're hitting the road.

Our new home is a historic Fire House built in 1895

Boot Camp 10-4 still in same location!

Being that Mark mentioned the possibility of moving to the Tuesday boot camp, I wanted to quickly post up and let everyone know that we will not be packing up until next week, so this entire week of boot camp classes will take place a 903 Girard. Don't worry, we'll post up before we leave you hanging, I promise!

WOD 10-02-07 Lots O'Squats

Many exercises in CrossFit are based on the Squat plus some variation of weighting. The hip extension is one of the body's most powerful and functional movements (running, jumping, squatting). Today's workout is 4 rounds for time of 15 of each of the following: SlamBall, WallBall, KettleBell Swings, and Dumbbell Overhead Squats.
